"We spent five nights at Jay’s house and had a very positive experience. The decor and ambiance was beautiful. The property allowed us to walk around and go for a jog without having to go too far. The hot tub was a fun way to unwind after exploring the County. The location was fabulous for going to the wineries and visiting the town. The layout of the house was great for us. There are two bedrooms upstairs and two in the basement. The two ensuite bathrooms upstairs were great since we shared our room with our baby. The kitchen is well stocked and was inspiring for cooking inventive meals. There is a bunkie with a fifth bedroom. There are there different levels on the main floor separated by 3 or 4 steps. We brought a telescope and saw the night sky beautifully from the back deck. Highly recommend this house, looking forward to coming back."

"We had a great long weekend at Jay’s home. It is conveniently located, has great design touches throughout, and was overall a wonderfully stay. Also, it has the best equipped kitchen of any Airbnb I have stayed at, with enough tools / utensils to actually cook a proper meal. Definitely will try to make it back during the summer to enjoy the pool and outdoor space."

“We just got back from a wonderful stay at Jay's house. It was absolutely fantastic. We were a large group, and it accommodated everyone easily! There is really everything you need at the house, even down to large platters, mixing bowls, hair dryer, a blender and face wipes(for makeup removal). The only issue we had was with the music, because it runs on wifi. And when you have a bunch of ladies using it at same time, it would skip a lot. So if you have people who can't put there phone down, I'd suggest bringing a Bluetooth speaker! Most of us are trying to find excuses to book his lovely home again!! Thanks, MC”

“Dragonfield House has everything you need for an amazing vacation with family and friends. The kitchen is perfect for cooking with the beautiful Viking Professional stove and gathering at the roomy island. The kitchen was well stocked so we never had to worry about not having enough dishes for our group of 11. The sound system and collection of vinyl was a very nice surprise as was the eclectic mix of art in every room. It really felt like home! It’s location is perfect as it’s just a short drive to Wellington to restock, go to the farmers market or have dinner out. The pool, cabana and hot tub were the icing on the cake! There are lots of lounge chairs so everyone has a place to sit and relax, read or watch the kids play, Jay has really thought of everything! The house is a dream regarding atmosphere and equipment, we all had great fun in the pool and never ending dinners on the veranda under an incredible stary sky. “I searched for a place where our family could comfortably share Christmas holidays together. We are 4 couples and 2 young children. The house was perfect. Our host had even decorated it in preparation for our coming! Communication was dependable, accurate and warm. The house was perfectly ready in every way to host our group. The beds and linens were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and well supplied. The house offered room and opportunity for private times and group activity. The dining room table seated us all comfortably with all the dishes. The living room was spacious. The kitchen is AMAZING. While we were away from home(s) we had everything we needed: everything! Being away from my own kitchen for Christmas ... ended up being a complete treat. It was a fantastic place to work in; everything and more was available. The home was beautifully designed and decorated. The hot tub was in hot demand... (I can imagine how great this place would be in the summer with the pool!) We were all so pleased and delighted with our stay. From the house we visited local art galleries and wineries. Quaint nearby villages. And, it's a short drive to the Sand Banks where we enjoyed the wild winter winds; great trails and walking, several times. The home is great value for the money. But best of all, our stay felt like being at home together. He really ensured our sense of being home for Christmas. Jay and I communicated by email - but if I could meet him I'd have a great big hug for him! He opened and provided a beautiful home for us. We felt his hospitality as thoughtful and generous.”

"Had a girls weekend with 8 of my friends here, and it was amazing. In fact, we enjoyed this place so much that we found ourselves actively searching for excuses to come back. We loved lounging around while listening to records on the house-wide stereo system and eating farm-fresh fruits and veggies from the farmer's stand from down the road. The enclosed porch was the perfect place to spend a rainy day (especially the hammock swing). My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that the hot tub only fits two. I'm now spoiled for all future home rental stays."
